Yarn: Black Trillium Pebble Sock Gradient Kit (380 yd/347 m per 100g; kit includes 165 g total); 100% superwash merino; color: Squash Blossom.

Gauge: 20 sts/28 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in pattern after blocking. Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage.

Needles: US#5/3.75 mm 32”/80 cm circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: 20 stitch markers, one in a second color to indicate beginning of round and a tapestry needle.

Gularis is named after the beautiful Altamira Oriole bird (Icterus gularis), whose underside coloring ranges from gorgeous shades of yellowish-orange to orange.
