Vacation Vest + Gushy Garter Tank = the Gushy Garter Vest!!! Knit from the top down in flat garter stitch, this vest knits up incredibly quickly, can be worn as a stand-alone top or a layering piece, and doesn’t require a single purl stitch. I made this pattern with simplicity and ease in mind, so it is perfect for all skill levels!

Needles & Notions:
Size US 7 / 4.5mm circular needles *
Tapestry needle, stitch holder or scrap yarn or an extra circular needle

This garment is meant to be worn with 1-4” of positive ease. I have a chest measurement of 36” and am pictured wearing the size Small with 2” of positive ease.

18 stitches & 34 rows/4” on a US 7 / 4.5mm, in flat garter stitch, blocked.
