Gwendolyn utilizes an easy 3 row repeat pattern that creates an open windowpane looking scarf. The result is a scarf that lies softly around the neck and has a nice drape.
Skill Level: Easy
Size: 7” W x 62” L.
Gauge:
“Approximately 17 pattern rows = 4” 10 cm in St st after wet blocking”
(sic: but if the gauge is measured in pattern rows, then the gauge swatch would be worked in open windowpane pattern)
NB: unusually gauge is indicated by ROWS only; there is no stitch count given for gauge
Materials
Yarn: Universal Yarn Deluxe Worsted Tweed Superwash (90% Superwash Wool, 7% Acrylic, 3% Viscose; 218 yards 200 meters/100 grams): #913 Smoke (1 ball)
Needles: US size 13 (9.0 mm) straight
