Gwynn Falls Park is a completely reversible cabled cowl/infinity scarf that starts with a provisional cast-on and is knit flat until the final length is reached.
Finished Measurements: (width/circumference):
Small: Approximately 8-1/2” x 44” (22 cm x 112 cm)
Large: Approximately 12” x 50” (30 cm x 127 cm)
Yarn:
Small: 400 yards of worsted weight yarn. Shown using Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Worsted (400 yd/226 g skein); 100% Merino. Color: Mondawmin, 1 skein.
Large: 680 yards of worsted weight yarn. Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Worsted (400 yd/226 g skein); 100% Merino. Color: Rock Creek Park, 2 skeins.
Gauge: 17 sts/25 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter after blocking. Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage.
Needles: US#8/5.0 mm straight or circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Waste yarn, crochet hook, cable needle, and tapestry needle.
