Haggle
In what can seem like a politicized black-and-white world, it turns out there’s often a lot of gray. I had a vision of this shawl years ago. I’d lived in multiple countries where negotiating skills were key for navigating the local markets. Two sides start out diametrically opposed, and they gradually bend and flex until they come to a middle ground. When The Fiber Seed posted a picture of a gorgeous gray gradient, I knew I’d found my ideal yarn for the pattern. In a time that is so politically charged, we could all stand to negotiate and find a way to coexist.
