萩 | HAGI : a Japanese medieval castle town and port,
located on the delta of the Abu-gawa River and the Sea of Japan in the Yamaguchi Province.
(Pronounced: “har-GHEE”.)
A unisex interpretation of a fisherman’s style hat; knitted inside out with ribbed band, folded trim and reverse stocking stitch texture.
Two variations of the design are included in the pattern;
a more fitted beanie style (Model A),
and another more slouched version (Model B).
Notes
The written pattern provides detailed instructions, along with photos and schematic. The hat is seamless, worked inside out and in the round.
