Note
Hakuji is a boxy, cabled pullover. The original version was worked from the bottom up, and this new version is worked from top down. Front and back are worked separately at first, then joined at the underarm to be worked in the round down in one piece. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the arm openings and worked in the round to the cuff. The pullover can be worn WS out. Enjoy different faces of cables.

Hakuji ケーブル模様のボックス型セーターです. オリジナルはボトムアップでしたが, このパターンではトップダウンで編みます. 各身頃は往復で脇下まで編み, そこから身頃をつないで輪で裾まで編みます. 袖は袖開きから拾い目をして, 袖口まで輪編みします. このセーターは両面で着用することも可能です. 両面のそれぞれのステッチの表情を楽しんでください.
