Slipped stitches and stripes combine in Haldimand Bay for a simple but interesting knit. An asymmetrical triangle shawl, it begins with a few stitches and is worked sideways to the bind-off edge, while being shaped with increases along one edge and decreases along the other. An I-cord along the decreasing edge allows the resting yarn to be carried easily up the side in the colorwork sections, and tucked neatly out of sight.

Yarn: DK weight yarn in three colors:
MC – 420 yards (384 meters)
CC1– 314 yards (287 meters)
CC2– 210 yards (192 meters)

Sample knit in Swans Island Washable Wool Collection DK; 100% Merino Wool; 270 yards (247 meters) /100 g skein; colorways Dove (MC) 2 skeins, Curry (CC1) 2 skeins, and Graphite (CC2) 1 skein.

Please note - Gauge and yarn weight are not crucial to the pattern, but please keep in mind any changes will affect yardage and finished measurements.
