Haldjas

This pattern is
available for free.
’Haldjas’ means ’Fairy’ in Estonian. This cowl is so soft and lacy that it just looks like fairytale to me. So that’s where the name came from.
Size: one size
Material: aran weight mohair and/or angora blend. I used 2 skeins of mohair blend that’s 50 g = 100 m (109 yards). So all together I used 200 m / 218 yards of yarn. Just in case have a little extra because it depends on your gauge how much you will need. Also if you want to make the cowl longer you will need more yarn.
Gauge: 14 sts = 10 cm / 4’’ (in lace pattern)
Needle size: 5 mm / US 8 circulars (maximum 70 cm/28’’)
Pattern notes: Cowl is knitted in a round. Charts display only odd rounds. All even rounds are knit in stockinette.
