Going trough my stash, I saw a lot of leftovers, and thought what could I make with this? I started making hearts, and then thought, what if I did one with each half a different color? 1 and a half hours later, Half Hearted was born!! These hearts are so cute and whimsical. You can give them eyes and a face, or just leave them plain. You can embroider a name on them, decorate them with buttons and appliques, whatever you like! With worsted weight yarn and a 3.75 hook, my heart stands about 3.5 inches tall.

You can change the size by changing hooks. This pattern would work with other sizes of yarn too, just use an appropriate size hook for your yarn.

Very quick and easy pattern, perfect for crocheters comfortable with simple color changes.
