Using one skein each of two different fingering weight yarns, Half Hidden is a simple cowl suitable for both beginners and more advanced knitters. The original was worked with one skein of SeaSilk fingering and one skein of a sport weight mohair silk blend, in this case, Handmaiden Fine Yarns SeaSilk and Maidenhair. Good partners are: - Lichtfaden Pure Silk and Silk Halo, Fyberspates Scrumptious 4ply and Faery Wings, Skein Queen Selkino and Ripple.

Worked in the round, top down this simple cowl has areas of plain yarn that are half hidden by the joined ridges of fuzzy (or another plain yarn if desired).

The edge of the cowl is divided to provide points that sit front and back, and each shoulder, keeping the draughts out and the warmth in.

The main body is repeatable to you can make your cowl and long or short as you wish.

Simple to knit, simple to wear and will keep you simply toasty!
