Halistrom
Knit from the bottom up, this pullover features a handy pocket and daring, twisted back detail. A great piece for transitioning seasons!
Pattern contains diagrams to help you along on the somewhat “unusual” techniques used when working the back twist and raglan decreases (not to worry, it’s all very simple!).
Intended to be worn with only a slight amount of positive ease. The back “twist” naturally creates a bit of waist cinching.
Yarn
9 (10, 12, 13, 14) skeins of Quince and co. Kestrel in “porpoise”, 100% organic linen; 76yd/ 70m per 50g.
Finished Measurements
Bust: 32 (35½, 39, 42½, 46)”
Length (hem to shoulder): 21 (21½, 22½, 23, 24)”
Gauge
18 sts x 21 rows in St st on larger needle.
If substituting with a wool yarn, it is advisable to add approx. 10-15% more yardage, due to the difference in row gauge that may occur. This is based on my own observations only.
