Halla Hat
The yarn is held double while knitting. If you have fingering-weight yarn in the same colo, feel free to hold that with the suggested yarn (=three strands of yarn) because it will make the hat sturdier and keep the shape better.
Brim is knitted flat separately and shaped with German Short Rows. Stitches are picked up from the brim and knitted in the round.
