Halla socks are inspired by icicles. Halla is a Finnish word for frost.

The sock are knitted from the cuff to toes with a surprisingly simple yet showy colorwork motif, that is easy to memorize.

These socks are also a great way to use up tiny amount of leftover yarn for the contrast color. The Halla socks look best when choosing solid/semisolid yarns.

The instructions are written for magic loop, but you can use DPN’s.
