This shawl with an unusual shape was inspired by Hallgrímskirkja (Hallgrímur’s church). Situated in the centre of Reykjavík, it is one of the city’s best-known landmarks and is visible throughout the city.
It was created especially for Hélène Magnússon’s Love Story Einband yarn by the amazing Monique B. from A Passion For Lace… and the result is stunning.

Gauge: 25 sts = 10 cm / 4” in Stocking stitch after blocking. Gauge is not crucial but will affect the yardage needed.
