Halloween Bitsy Dolls
You’ll find three delightful patterns in this set:
— The Witch with her trusty broom
— Skeleton doll with his pumpkin
— Pumpkin doll
All the dolls’ bodies and heads are knitted in one piece. After seaming and stuffing, you’ll create the legs by sewing a seam from front to back. The arms are knitted separately and sewn on when assembling these cute little characters. All the doll and accessory pieces are knitted flat with simple shaping, making these projects approachable and fun.
Witch Doll
Bitsy Witch is all dressed up and ready for trick-or-treating! She adores her big witch’s hat and those stripy red-and-white tights. Holding tightly to her toy broomstick, with an orange pumpkin by her feet, she’s the star of this sweet Halloween scene.
This pattern is a fun knit for confident beginners—yarn overs are used in the skirt, and the leg stripes are made by carrying the yarn up the side of the work. (For the broom handle, a cotton bud (Q tip) works perfectly, but if you’re gifting to a child, simply leave it out for safety.)
Skeleton Doll
This Skeleton doll is much too cute to be scary! He (or she) makes a charming Halloween decoration or gift. The “bones” are made with simple crochet chains, though you can also achieve a similar look using wool embroidery if you prefer. Use safety eyes, or follow the included instructions for embroidered eyes. The pumpkin is sewn to the doll’s leg to help him stand up on his own.Pumpkin Doll
This little Pumpkin doll is as sweet as can be in a pumpkin costume—maybe ready for their very first trick-or-treat adventure!
All these characters make wonderful last-minute gifts and are perfect for using up leftover yarn. They’re quick and easy to knit, and sure to be welcome gifts for all ages.
These patterns are designed for confident beginners, so everyone can join in the Halloween fun.
