ABOUT PATTERN

The Hana Scrunchie is a flower shaped hair
accessory. This scrunchie cannot be twisted
around the hair, so to wear it, first style your
hair with a regular hair tie, and then place the
Hana Scrunchie over it, to complete the look.

WORKFLOW

The Hana Scrunchie is first worked one petal
at a time.

When the petals are all worked about half
way, they will be joined together and the rest
of the scrunchie is worked in one piece.

All parts are worked in the round, using the
magic loop technique.

Once the knitting part is done, the scrunchie
is stuffed lightly with polyester filling and
closed up.

An elastic band is placed inside to give the
scrunchie its final shape and elasticity.
