Hanah
Hanah is an open front cardigan with horizontal and vertical stripes. It is knit in different directions; thus you are working with just one color in a row. The hems, edges and the neckband are also worked in stockinette stitch either as selvedge stitch or as a folded hem depending on the knitting direction. You may add a temporary closure like a decorative stickpin or a permanent but nearly invisible one, e.g. a hook and eye or a snap.
This pattern is part of the eBook 2ways, which features six designs using natural European merino yarns of de rerum natura. Five out of six items may be worn in two ways, either because of their stitch patterns or their construction. The sixth one is worked in different directions.

Take time to check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.
It is essential for this pattern to get at least the same ratio from sts to rows because the cardigan is knit in two directions.
