Materials
:: 984 yards (900 m) of super bulky yarn that is a minimum of 2.0 stitches to the inch (or fewer) in traditional gauge, combining 4 x246-yard lengths. (Pattern includes how to join yarn mid-project).

:: 8 skeins Cascade Magnum in Doeskin, 123 yd (112.5m), 8.82 oz (250g), 100% wool

Notes on yarn
If your yarn gets more stitiches to the inch (2.25 to 3) than what I used, that means your yarn is smaller than what I used and you may need to crochet with more strands to get a full fabric. If your yarn gets fewer stitches to the inch (1 to 1.5) than what I used, that means you could try fewer strands than four. Make a practice swatch, 5 stitches by 5 rows, before you start so you know you like the fabric.
