Last year Dan went through chemotherapy, and during that process he wasn’t able to knit. One evening we sat and talked about his favourite knitted item and discussed the outline of what has become this pattern.

We wanted to create something that could be knit for guys as well as girls, and would be the perfect tv or car knitting project.

We hope that people will knit this for friends going through chemo, or gift it to a knitting friend who has been touched by this terrible illness.

The cowl is knit in the round, using just knit and purl stitches so is perfect for beginners and expert knitters alike.
