Handy Bag
Knitted in the round, this drawstring project bag uses small amounts of twelve colours of yarn and a slip stitch pattern to give you a finished bag that is both pretty and practical.
The ends of all those colours of yarn are knotted together and hidden under a fabric lining and the drawstrings have a magnetic clasp so that the bag can be fastened round the handle of a chair.
The pattern can also be adapted to make other sizes of bag. The one illustrated is about 37 cm tall and 22 cm wide but I also knitted a smaller one, half the size and the instructions for this are included in the pattern.
All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them,
please consider making a donation to the British Liver Trust where
the money will go to fund research and support the families of
children with a liver disease. You can do this easily by going to my
fundraising page here
Happy Knitting!
