This pattern was created for the Jimmy Beans Wool Downton Abbey Mystery Crochet Along in 2016. The MCAL was partner to the Mystery Knit Along, led by Kristen of Marinade Designs, and was created to celebrate the final season of the epic Downton Abbey saga.

The Yarn: Designed in the Lorna’s Laces Limited Edition color, Yorkshire Skies, this color is no longer available. The shawl takes 2 skeins of Solemate, or about 850 yards of fingering weight yarn with a nice drape

In addition to yarn, this pattern required:
A US C (2.75mm) crochet hook or size to obtain gauge
Gauge:
24 stitches and 14 rows on a US C in double crochet / 4 inches, unblocked
22 stitches and 16 rows on a US C in single crochet / 4 inches, unblocked
