Happiness Rug
Gauge:
Approx. 7 ½ sts = 4” (10 cm) in both knit and crochet; 6 rows = 4” (10 cm) in crochet; 14 rows = 4” (10 cm) in garter st
I took my love of basic knit and crochet stitches, as well as not having to weave in ends, and combined them into a cushiony, textured area rug that feels great underfoot thanks to squishy garter stitch in the main body of the rug and crochet seed stitch along each edge.
Super bulky and chunky yarns held together makes this home design a quick make on big needles and a hook; in-row knots provide a rustic touch and no ends weaving.
Make this meditative project in a jiffy while device watching or at group craft sessions. You’ll have a nifty new home accessory in no time flat!
