My clever and adventurous friend Gemma asked me to design an allover colourwork hoody, with steeks, for her to knit for her children. She had just been to a workshop to learn stranded colourwork and really enjoyed it.
This hoody is suitable for any gender. It is worked from the bottom up in the round, in a drop shoulder style. Armhole and front neck steeks are created, and shoulders joined with three needle bindoff. After cutting the neck steek, stitches are picked up for the hood, which is worked in the round with another steek.
Sleeves are picked up and worked downwards.
The hood, cuffs and hem are finished in a corrugated rib trim.

This pattern is available in 7 sizes to fit ages roughly from 2-14. Pick your size based on chest measurement.

Finished chest circumference 60[65, 70, 75] {80, 85, 90} cm 23.5[25.5, 27.5, 29.5] {31.5, 33.5, 35.5} inches.

The allover design is worked in two colours, with a small amount of a third colour for the contrast in the trims.
