Mug cosies are such a practical but pretty way to keep your tea or coffee warm. So many times I have tea while I’m knitting, but I think “I’ll just finish this pattern repeat and then I’ll have another sip…” – before I know it, my tea has gone cold!

Four happy hedgehogs around this mug cosy will bring a smile to your face each time you see them and are a quick and fun intarsia design to work. If you haven’t knitted intarsia before, these are a great start as the pattern is small, and so of course quick!

The pictured cosy has been knitted in cotton, but wool does, in fact, give a better result, so if you have that on hand I’d recommend using it instead. The entire cosy uses less than 15g of yarn altogether, so the amounts above are generous.
