The Happy Thoughts Headband is a cozy ear warmer that brings joy. The knitting pattern is beginner-friendly and quick to finish.

The headband is a great project for using up leftover yarn!

Size: One size fits head circumferences of approx. 54 − 59 cm / 21.25 – 23.25”.
Measurements: Height 10 cm / 4”, circumference 47 cm / 18.5” (unstretched).
Gauge: Approx. 23 sts = 10 cm / 4”. Gauge has been measured from the finished headband.
Needles: 4 mm / US 6 circular needle (100 cm / 40”).
Yarn: You can use any DK-weight yarn to knit the headband, or combine yarns so that they match the given gauge. The headband shown in the photos is knitted using the following yarn combinations:

Pink Headband: Isokumpu Täppä (2-ply Finnish lamb wool, 100 g / 275 m / approx. 301 yds, tex 180 x 2), colors pinkertävä and vispipuuro, 1 skein each, AND Gepard Garn’s Kid Seta Silk Mohair (25 g = 210 m / 230 yds ), color Caffe Latte 610, 2 skeins. The headband is knitted simultaneously with four threads: 2 strands of Isokumpu Täppä + 2 strands of Gepard Garn’s Kid Seta Silk Mohair.

Brown Headband: Novita Isoveli (100 g = 130 m / 142 yds), color Särkkä 618, 1 skein, AND Gepard Garn’s Kid Seta Silk Mohair (25 g = 210 m / 230 yds), color Caffe Latte 610, 2 skeins.The headband is knitted simultaneously with three threads: 1 strand of Novita Isoveli + 2 strands of Gepard Garn’s Kid Seta Silk Mohair.
