Hardinge Road is a cowl inspired by the road that runs alongside the ocean in Ahuriri where I live. This my favourite place to walk. I often grab a cowl to toss on to keep myself warm, they are quick and less bulky that a scarf or shawl. Whether it’s walking the dog or sitting outside soaking up the view along the Ahuriri Boardwalk – it all happens along Hardinge Road.

You require three colours of DK yarn: 110m MC & 100m C1 & C2

A note on colour selection.
The mosaic stitch pattern creates a tessellating pattern which produces an optical illusion depending on the colours you select. If you want defined tessellations, then ensure you select two colous with very high contrast to each other with a third in a mid tone. For an optical illusionary effect, select three yarns all in the mid tone (as pictured above)
