Harlequin Crochet Afghan/Blanket
Harlequin was designed to show case “John Arbon Textiles Knit by Numbers DK”.
Harlequin was a character from 16th century street comic theatre, he was a good natured trickster and wore a colourful diamond costume, anyone who was met John Arbon at a wool show or visited his mill will recognise similar character traits and so this blanket is for him.
SIZE & TENSION
Each square measures 12 cm/4.5” (blocked)
The blanket measures approx. 112 cm x 122 cm/44 x 48 inches
YARN
Harlequin is made with 12 skeins of John Arbon Textiles Knit by Numbers Merino DK

I used 6 colours, 2 slightly different shades of each, which adds colour texture to the blanket.
Alternative yarns include Fyberspates Vivacious DK, Cascade 220 Sport, Manos Silk Blend, Classic Elite Inca Alpaca.

Crochet hook in size 4 mm, or size needed for your tension.
