This shawlette is knitted in garter stitch with a “lace by music” edging. Lace by music is just another way of writing lace edging patterns. Is very traditional in Portugal and we just use symbols to represent the yarn over and the decreases. It’s a very simple pattern witch I’m sure you’ll memorize quickly and let the music guide you. We start with a few stitches and work with increases to the half of the shawl, then decreases for the other half.
