About this pattern
The Harmony Mitts are designed to allow a luxurious Cashmere yarn to take center stage. Once finished they will be the perfect gift to yourself! Tuck them in a special place, whether it is your favorite jacket or your office desk drawer for when the air conditioning is too cold, and put them on for the softest, coziest, comfort on your hands. This will be a go-to pattern you return to time and again for a small yardage project in decadent yarns.

These mitts are written for Magic Loop with a long circular needle, and you can easily substitute your favorite method for small circumferences. Because the mitts are so stretchy, exact gauge is not critical to this pattern: you can cast on the first mitt, knit a few inches, and try it on (instead of swatching!)

If you are substituting a non-Cashmere yarn, you may want to use sport weight.

The mitts are worked one at a time from the wrist up. Increases are used to create the thumb gusset, then the thumb stitches are bound off creating the thumb hole.

The cable motif is a mirror image on each mitt, a subtle lovely detail.

You’ll love how quickly these mitts fly off your needles!
