Classic shaped bottom up cardigan with a deep v-neck and raised collar.
The sleeves are knitted separately from the body and then joined via underarm gussets. The gussets are designed for increased mobility and to better fit the shape of a child.
Body of cardigan is done in sand stitch, which is the reverse side of the more popular moss stitch. This is a great thermal stitch pattern that is excellent for winter thermal fabrics.
The collar is raised in the back to give the cardigan a vintage grandpa-sweater look.
