The cute flowers on the border of this hat are made using simple cables and a wrapping technique. The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart for my original “Ribbing and Flowers” stitch as well as a couple of photos illustrating the wrapping technique.

The beads are sewn to finished hat by hand. They are optional, but they add so much charm to the flowers! :)

The pattern is available in two sizes:

• Baby 9-12 Months +: to fit a baby with head circumference of 16”-19”
• Child-Adult: to fit a child or an average lady with head circumference of 21”-23”

Yarn used: #4 medium worsted (10 ply)
Gauge: 4 sts per 1” in stockinette stitch
