The pretty “braids” on this hat are created with simple cable stitches that are easy to knit. The pattern has both written instructions and a chart for the stitch.

The hat is made in the round and does not have a seam.

The pattern is available in two sizes:

2 years +: to fit a child with head circumference of
18”-20”/46-51 cm
Child-Adult: to fit a child or an average lady with head
circumference of 21”- 23”/53-58 cm

Yarn used: #4 medium worsted/aran (10 ply)
Gauge: 4 sts per 1” in stockinette stitch

Difficulty level: easy
