This pretty hat features small cables that look like “braids”. The “braids” are created with simple cable stitches that are very easy to knit. The pattern has both written instructions and charts for the cable stitches.

The hat is made in the round and does not have a seam.

The pattern is available in three sizes:

• 6-12 months: to fit a baby with head circumference of 16”-19”
• 2 years +: to fit a child with head circumference of 19”-20.5”
• Child-Adult: to fit a child or an average lady with head circumference of 21”- 23”

Hat Height: 6.5” (7.5”, 8”)

Yarn used: #4 medium worsted (10 ply)
Gauge: 4 sts per 1” in stockinette stitch
