Using this master pattern, this hat knits up very quickly and makes a great small gift. It has a paper-bag top that requires no decreasing. Simply knit the tube as long as you want, bind off, and close the top of the hat with a simple tie. The project is a great way to practice the techniques outlined in Chapter 2.
