Haven Cowl
Crackington Haven is a rocky beach in North Cornwall that used to be the regular primary school trip for me, usually in the autumn or winter when it was cold, damp and raining but it was always just a bit magical. This cowl is inspired by waves and by the texture of the smooth sand to the lines of rock spearing out toward the sea. It can be made as a single or double cowl knitted in the round in an Aran weight yarn.
Difficulty
Knitted in the round on circular needles. Using knit and purl stitches together with knitting together, passing slipped stitches over and knitting in the front and back of a stitch creates the wave.
