This sweater is named for my father, and his fascination with the dichotomy created by the sweater’s namesakes. The combination of malabrigo’s light and soft sock yarn, and LB’s stainless steel yarn signify this dichotomy; while creating sheer inserts that appear almost like chain mail.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52” bust/chest circumference. Pullover shown measures 36”.

NEEDLES
Size US 6 (4 mm): 24” circular and double-pointed (dpn);
Size US 4 (3.5 mm): 24” cir, 16” circular, and dpn.
Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

YARN
MC: 2 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5) skeins Malabrigo Sock (100% merino, 440 yards, 100 grams)
CC: 1 skein LB Collection Wool Stainless Steel (273 yards, 14 grams)

GAUGE
20 sts and 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in St st on larger needles
