In the sky above, hawks soar gracefully in thermal spirals that send them turning and spinning upwards. Warm breezes rush and scatter leaves over the ground pushing away last chill like silk curtains being drawn. Underfoot, leaves of grass appear richer than the finest carpet. Early moths dance in warm evening light’s glow. All of these things resonate more than a mere turning of the season. If they grow, so shall we. If they change, might we? Perfection is abandoned and conventions of thought are examined in new light. Self- Perhaps that box didn’t quite fit so well, and the sides needed to be broken down. It was all so confining. Perhaps those labels were just words, and not a person. Perhaps the value of one isn’t found inside those flimsy cardboard parameters after all…
