Haygarden was designed in collaboration with Artisan Yarns by Hampden Hills Alpacas. I chose to use their DK alpaca/silk blend to create a 3 color shawl. ( I have a thing for 3 color shawls. ) I wanted to combine garter, some stripes and some slip stitches for a knit that has visual punch but is also intuitive enough to bring to knit night. I added a sideways border to mix things up and because I find them incredibly fun to knit.
This shawl is suitable for adventurous beginner. Skills needed: Cast on, knit, slipping stitches, increasing, decreasing, binding off.
The artisan yarns dk is a pleasure to knit with. Its super soft with a little sheen and comes in lots of colors. You can see them here:artisan yarns
