Haymaker is a highly wearable rectangular scarf made to be a staple piece that will last you through cold days for years to come. With a timeless design, it offers an interesting texture created by slipped stitches and a wide ribbing in both ends. It’s a relaxing knit for the experienced knitter, and a fun next step for the beginner knitter who wants to explore new textures.

As of November 7, this pattern includes two versions of the Haymaker scarf - one light fingering and one worsted weight!

The pattern creates a 190 cm long piece, but the length can easily be adjusted to your desired size by simply making the main portion of the scarf shorter or longer. (Please note that a longer scarf will require more yardage than listed.) The original size in light fingering weight yarn requires almost 4 skeins of Camilla Vad’s Lambswool (225 m/50 g) in the colour Messing, and the worsted weight version requires 4 skeins of Raincloud & Sage Homestead (140 m/100 g) in the colour grey.
