This lightweight ladies waistcoat is worked in Blacker Swan 4 ply. The innovative design uses a combination of diagonal garter stitch along the bottom and a stocking stitch body. The colour blocking used in the design gives it a contemporary feel.

This garment is knitted flat and then seamed. The garter stitch hems are worked on the diagonal. The collar stitches are then picked up and worked back and forth on circular needles.
