This set can be made in a wide variety of worsted weight yarn. As pictured, it’s made using two colors of Red Heart – one solid and one multicolor. The two skeins will easily make all three pieces with ample yarn left over.

Try reversing the colors and making another set!

Both hats—the Rolled Brim Hat and the Pom Pom Hat— as well as the Booties are knit on straight needles and seamed. Pattern includes directions for hats in three sizes; the one-size booties have an I-cord tie woven through simple eyelets knit into the booties. Bottom of bootie foot measures approximately 4 1/2” finished. Size 7 double-pointed needles are used for making the I-cord tie.

This pattern is suitable for newer as well as more experienced knitters.
