Während des Strickens wird der ICord Rand direkt mitgestrickt. Das geht schnell und einfach und ergibt einen wunderbaren, edlen Look.

The Snowflakes pattern features eye catching diagonals. The yarn held double makes for a cosy and warm headband.
The I-cord edge is added during the knitting process, which makes it a quick and easy knit and looks very sophisticated.

Das Stirnband kann alternativ mit einem provisorischen Maschenanschlag gearbeitet werden und dann im Maschenstich zusammengenäht oder mit 3 Nadeln zusammen abgekettet werden. Im Text ist ein „normaler“ Anschlag beschrieben.
Der angegebene Garnverbrauch ist für ein Stirnband für einen Kopfumfang von ca. 56cm angegeben. Für andere Größen wird entsprechend mehr oder weniger Garn benötigt.

Notes:
The Headband can be started with a traditional cast on, as described in the pattern. Alternatively, you can use a provisional cast on and graft the live stitches together at the end or knit together with a 3 needle bind off.
The yardage in the pattern is for a head circumference of 56 cm. If you make your headband bigger or smaller, you will need more or less yarn accordingly.
