This one will keep you nice and warm even when it is very cold. It features a cozy, super stretchy double brim. It has a slightly slouchy fit and a jaunty (optional) pompom, making it both super comfortable and cute. If you prefer a less slouchy hat, or a more snug fit, the pattern can be adjusted.

The hat uses slipped stitches for an interesting texture. It’s also interesting to knit without being too complicated, and looks good in variegated and solid yarns.
