This is a blanket for the novice or intermediate knitter. Knit in a soft pink the hippos are stacked in pyramid fashions - 4 hippos on the bottom, 3 hippos above them, 2 hippos above the 3, and finally one lonely hippo on top.

The pattern includes charts in written instructions for each segment of the blanket, as well as a chart for the full blanket. The length of the blanket can be modified by expanding or reducing the stockinette areas between the rows of hippos.
