This statement piece works up fast as it is crocheted using 2 strands of t-shirt yarn. Working with 2 strands of yarn creates a strong and funky bag especially if you use 2 different colours. Don’t weave in your ends, leave them to hang, which gives the bag its individual charm.

I used Circulo Premium t-shirt yarn 25mm/270g/140m x 2 skeins and I highly recommend this yarn as it is easier on your hands, lightweight and comes in a gorgeous range of colours. A similar alternative would also be suitable.

The pattern is beginner-friendly, written in U.S. terminology and includes both written instructions and multiple video tutorials. Crochet 2 hearts, seam them together and add the handles, it’s as simple as that. Including video tutorials of the various stitches and techniques involved ensures you can’t go wrong and you don’t need to look elsewhere for explanations.
