Skill-level: Intermediate, bavarian-style twisted cables, ptbls, and chart reading.
Materials: approximately 350-420 yards (320-375 m) of sock yarn. The socks pictured are size Extra-Large used approximately 390 yards (360m) of It’s a Stitch Up’s Favourite Sock yarn in the color “Careless Whisper” (More yarn may be needed depending on foot length or leg height)
Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) sock needles, pattern is written for both DPNs and Magic Loop
Tools: Cable needle, if necessary, Measuring Tape, Scissors, and a Tapestry Needle
Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rounds per inch or 2.5 cm in Stockinette stitch
Sizing: Small (Medium, Large, Extra-large) socks measure approximately 8(9,10,11) inches or 20.3(22.9,25.4,27.9) cm in circumference. The leg height, ankle depth, and foot length are all adjustable to size and preference.
