The Heatbeat Shawl is worked from the top down increasing along the edges and the center mid-line to create an elongated triangle shape. The purl side is the right side of the work. A crochet edging is worked along the top edge and helps hide the unused color carried between rows. Using a larger size needle than suggested in the pattern will give a larger shawl as shown in the black version.

You will need 1 hank of Kettle Tweed and 2 hanks of Elfin Tweed for either size.

This pattern is rated intermediate, you will need to be able to follow a chart.
