Worked in a top-down manner, this hat when finished, can be worn two ways. It makes a nice slouchy beanie, or for extra warmth around the ears, fold the cuff up and wear it as a fitted cap.

The pattern is written in US terms. This is an intermediate pattern using stitches in the front or back loops only and post stitches. Yarn used on the model is Lion Brand’s heartland. Any #4 worsted weight yarn may substituted as long as the correct gauge is obtained.
