The inspiration for most of my designs is of course rainbows, but on this occasion, it was inspired by love and Valentine’s day. The stitches used in this blanket will create a beautifully textured blanket with alternating sections of ‘hearts’ and ‘bobbles’ aka ‘hugs’.

There is the option to make any sized blanket you like with details included about chains and stitches needed to make larger or smaller blankets. Alternatively, using a different yarn weight will also result in a smaller or larger blanket.

This blanket looks great with 2 colours or an array of colours, you’ll need about 500g of DK yarn to complete a baby sized blanket and a 4mm hook.
